He is a Seattle original, a local treasure who has kept right on going for close to 30 years now doing what he does and getting better at it as he goes. Brian Butler plays acoustic blues in the rough and ready style of Lightning Hopkins and Mance Lipscomb and uptown Chicago blues in the spirit of BB King and Buddy Guy. His passionate guitar playing accompanies his soulful singing and Brian’s repertoire includes self-penned songs as well as renditions of classic blues.
